HB Champions is a formation of men who desire to grow in their relationship with God and become more fully equipped in ministering to men. It is grounded in biblical and men's relational resources that will train and prepare men toward being commissioned as a HB Champion.
As an HB Champion, I will:
- Grow in my relationship with Christ
- Be equipped in being a stronger friend, husband, father and leader
- Be empowered as a soul winner
- Develop personal disciplines & character in becoming the man of God I was created to be
In becoming commissioned as a HB Champion, you will complete three segments that will establish a foundation for Living, Learning and Leading like a champion.
The time frame is up to you or your group. Whatever you decide, set a definite start/end date as to stay course in completing all three segments. Your group may determine to meet weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.
Your group may elect to meet at church, in a host-home, or in a different location to discuss the various elements being learned in each of the tracks.
Time and the cost of the books you choose for your electives. At the completion of all three segments, there is a $75 application fee that will give you a HB Champions Sword and Certificate in being commissioned as a HB Champion.
Contact your district men’s director to notify them of your interest in HB Champions.
In the event your district does not provide a HonorBound Champions discipleship tool, National Men’s Ministries has an online version available for use by local churches.

A) Complete all four tracks from Living Like A Champion. You will choose two or more resources from the electives in Learning Like A Champion for each track.
B) Complete Leading Like A Champion.
C) Download HB Champions Application, fill out all information and send with application fee to National Men’s Ministries.
Living Like A Champion
The following are requirements in completing Living Like A Champion.
- Daily Bible reading
- Daily Prayer time
- Complete two or more books or study guides from the Learning resources list
- Develop consistent family devotions
- Planned family activity (once a month)
- Complete two or more books or study guides from the Learning resources list
- Weekly attendance
- Tithe regularly (10% of income to local church)
- Complete two or more books or study guides from the Learning resources list
- Regular participation with Men’s Ministries
- Presentation of your faith to an unbeliever
- Complete two or more books or study guides from the Learning resources list

- Make a Faith Promise toward missions giving with your local church
- Become a LFTL Councilmen
Complete one or more of the following:
- Community Service project of your choice
- Royal Rangers involvement
- Church Ministries involvement
